The Obstruction, with Mary Mack and friends
If you hate The View, then you’ll LOVE The Obstruction. The Obstruction is hosted by the Ether itself, presenting Mary Mack and her invited, yet unconfirmed friends Lillian DeVane, Jacquelyn Novak, Claudia Cogan, and Tim Harmston who will in an extremely unprofessional manner interweave unresearched, factual information and hearsay into the molecular fabric of the air you breath. Give us a topic: We know nothing! (More air will be pumped in, should the bullshit prove overpowering.) This show is a BYOP–Bring Your Own Powerpoint, if you think that will help things. Just show up a little early and work it out with the sound dude up in the fort-looking thing they call a tech booth.
More about Mary Mack:
Mary was born in Minnesota but raised in Wisconsin, up north. Her brother was almost killed by a moose out by the swing set. Mary has done some T.V. appearances, but she didn’t care for it. She likes to do radio and podcast things like Bob & Tom and Marc Maron’s WTF. She has also pissed off a good majority of the people at the public radio enterprise, American Public Media, where she and Paula Poundstone once had a heated argument over whether people in California walked for exercise ever. It makes one angry just thinking about it. There’s some more information and outdated videos at www.marymackcomedy(dot)com.
