Creek Cave Live

Creek Cave Live (CCL) brings you the an amazing showcase full of Creek favorites, comics just passing through and some of the best stand up comics living in NYC.

  • Downstairs
Every Saturday at 10(ish), come tell jokes and have drinks and emote! Or don’t emote. Bucket lotto, everyone gets two and a half minutes. Hosted by the usually-too-chipper Julia Schachter and Julie Ray.

neurontin Power Hour! is a stand-up show that invites comedians to do a set with an important caveat: a special guest is invited onstage to A) drink two pitchers of beer, and B) riff on everyone’s bits. All with musical accompaniment!

Power Hour is a raucous, good time that has been called “the only show that doesn’t suck” by the show’s own producers.

And lo’ for there came a day where a Black Metal Southerner would walk among Satan’s own and preach the word of the Lord of Darkness every fourth Saturday of the quarterly month from a hollow chvrch in Long Island City, Queens. And lo’ for that man’s name was OSLO, THE BLACK METAL SOUTHERNER and a cast of strange, pernicious souls would bring the word of Lord Satan and the Black Metal Jesus to all, whether they wanted to hear it or not.

Amber Rollo is a California girl who moved to New York in 2010. Her standup has a dark New York edge with a sunny California smile that makes her a joy to watch no matter the topic. She has earned the title “Downright Rude” by confronting Harvey Weinstein when he showed up at a variety show in Manhattan, HW’s spokesperson described her actions in that way and she has worn those words as a badge since.
She was recently a guest on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee to comment on that interaction. She also headlined at the New York Comedy Festival show – Rape Jokes by Survivors. Amber is the creator and co-host of Stoked Comedy (with Kelly Bachman, Davidson Boswell and Julie Piñero) in Brooklyn and co-host of Gilligan Comedy, a pop-up comedy show with Gabriel Pacheco.
Davidson Boswell is a standup comic and actor from North Carolina. He has been featured for National Lampoon and MTV. He performs at clubs and bars all around the city. He also runs a great show called Stoked! with Co-hosts Amber Rollo, Kelly Bachman and Julie Piñero.
