Some of NYC’s best and brightest standup comics come together for a night of stellar standup where 100% of proceeds benefit refugee resettlement programs in NYC.  (IRC) International Rescue Committee in NYC.
featuring: Dolce Sloan (The Daily Show), Yedoye Travis (Colbert), Eman El Husseini (Just for Laughs), Saurin Choski (Brown Privelege), Will Miles (HBO’s Crashing) & more. Hosted by Cliff Cash
We’ve all seen the hate and division that is so obviously rampant in our country right now. We’ve all typed insults and exclamation points at someone’s racist uncle. If we’re honest with ourselves, we’re all starting to see that it doesn’t change anything. Raising money for people who badly need it does. This is an easy way that we can all come together in a setting that is inclusive and kind and have a great time laughing while knowing that every dollar raised is helping real people who need it more than anyone.
THIS ISN’T FUNNY has raised $780 in Austin TX and $880 and $1700 at two different shows in NC. I hope to keep this going and work with comedian friendsin different cities around the country to keep raising funds for refugee organizations. Hopefully this gets enough traction to eventually be a 501c3 and have a big presence that can make a bigger difference. If you know of a way to help me make that happen, I am all ears cliffcashcomedy@gmail.com
There are around 20 million refugees worldwide at any given time, people who have lost everything and sometimes everyone they’ve known. The US Government allows 100,000 refugees in each year around the country. This is a long standing program that is in danger under this administration.  Refugees often wait up to twenty years before they’re finally able to come to the states. These people are coming from old conflicts and refugee camps where they’ve lived for years almost always without adequate resources like running water, electricity, appliances, solid shelter etc.
These refugee resettlement programs help these folks start over and have literally a new life. A place to live, groceries, help finding a job, help learning necessary language and getting around transit etc.
The funds raised at this event will go directly to International Rescue Committe (IRC) in New York City
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND COMPASSION. WE ARE ALREADY GREAT.

Put your name on a piece of paper and pray to the gods it will rain down into the hands of either Jacob Lie or Stu Melton. Or don’t…your chances of getting called up are about the same either way (100% chance!). This is the open mic you need no matter what it’s like outside. Come in and forget the sunshine. No windows. No fresh air. Just the way we like it!

The Kaleidoscope is an experiment where friends and strangers get together and perform. Every week, four improvisers will form teams with whom they have never performed to create teams that have never existed and will never exist again. Like a kaleidoscope: every time you look you will see something different. Hosted by Tao Yang

Invasion of the Bawdy Snatchers is an insanely fun roast-heavy, impression-filled good time. Make your act as mean as you want, as long as it’s funny. Beer will flow, beats will be dropped, and we’ll party till dawn to celebrate one of the most fun Creek nights of the year. See you there!

Butt Factory

Lonely orphan boy, Tim Unkenholz, got his most cherished wish of all when one night he was visited by a blue fairy who granted him his very own comedy open mic.

“It shall be called, ‘Butt Factory’!” proclaimed the fairy.

“Why?” asked Tim, but the fairy disappeared in a marvelous cloud of vanilla glaze. Now Tim and his new comedian friends gather together every Tuesday at 6pm to laugh and clap in hopes of summoning the fairy so he can explain this puzzling combination of words—and maybe life itself.

2 minutes of stage time to help Tim conjure the Butt Factory Fairy!  Come on down!
